Fundamentals

I am pushed by fundamental truths

Equity

Fairness and justice of social policies are necessary to ensuring that all persons have the same rights and opportunities afforded to them.

My professional work pushes for equity in both the contraceptive burden and opportunity.

Autonomy

The governance of one's self - especially one's physical body - is a human right, provided that individuality does not infringe on the rights of others.

My health work promotes the specific human right of reproductive autonomy for all.

I follow fundamental ideas

Create

I make things. This can be art, a nice Excel table, or just a practical solution for how to hang clothes in the laundry room (still working on that one).

I take pride in my work and solve problems by ideation, prototyping, and implementation.

Absorb

I take things in. For a project I'm listening to the discographies of my favorite artists in chronological order. I've always got a book or two I'm working through

I'm at my happiest when I'm drinking in the view on a mountain with a sharp wind and warm sun.

Explore

I try new things. I go outside and wander to a place I've never been before, and I ask questions when I can learn something new.

I find my comfort zone and take a step outside to see how it goes.

And I lean on fundamental skills

Technophile

I'm highly competent at virtual work and collaboration. I enjoy solving challenges with tools, techniques, and using technology to get more done.

Creative

I love to think outside the box and bring new ideas to old challenges. The best way to get me rolling is to give me a cup of coffee and a problem to solve.

Organized

I live and die by my calendar. I take notes, I file my files, and I'm self-reliant because of my autonomy. I put my to-do list on my to-do list and then I check it off.

Friendly

I'm self motivated, dependable, and eager.

Want to make something together? Think we should know each other?

Seriously, come say hi. I'd be overjoyed.
